I just was listening to Kenny and it brought back two great memories. One was the first time I saw Kenny in concert in Santa Monica in the early 80's where he performed " Silver Morning" with just him and the piano. What a performance. It sent goosebumps up and down my body. I saw him perform that song a few more times but never as good as that time. Not that any of them were bad. But he was just so on that night. And the other memory was when again, he was really on top of his game and gave the most amazing performance of " While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with just him and his guitar. It was in Vegas in the 90's. He hit every note and had so much emotion in his performance. You could have heard a pin drop, we were all so mesmerized. Again, I saw him perform that song other times, but he hit a homerun this night. Still gives me goosebumps. I know as fans, we all have our memories and stories. I just thought I'd share mine. The fact that we still think about him more than a year later, says a lot to how his music and talent and life impacted us. Bless you Kenny.
