We have many performers who have left us, but some have that special impact....I cannot believe, I cannot believe, it's been a year, and within that year another of my personal idols, Mary Travers died, and with her, Peter Paul and Mary passed.

Kenny's voice was a friend to me, sometimes a therapist, sometimes a sedative, and when I sang his songs (I could hit the high notes, a bit of trouble with his fast scats, In the Name of Love, as example)it was glorious.

I share with the family especially, but also with we fans who don't know each other but are bonded with our love for his music, a renewed sense of loss........and again, thank God we have the music still with us.
