My wife (Gail) and I are shocked and saddened to hear about Kenny's passing. We have enjoyed him in person several times in recent years, and I was just checking for current tour dates when I saw the news. I recall in recent gigs how he had a troublesome cough, but it never seemed to affect his light, wonderful voice we came to love so much. He always made us feel good about him, his family, his music, and us, too! Gail reminded him of his cousin, so he remembered us from that time we met at Odette's every time we saw him since.
We will miss him very much. Know that he brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. We are very sorry for your loss.
