Iam 55 years old and have been listening to Kenny since the age of 25. I have seen him many times in small clubs and bigger venues as well. He was the first artist whom made me realize that there was much more to music than just straight rock n roll. Since that time I have gotten into many different standard singers as well as some jazz artists. I atribute this mainly to Kenny. One show that is most memorable to me was the Schaefer music festival (Central Park)the year of the Don Costa stuff. Kenny came out with full band which was rare. The full lush sound of that band and Kennys voice made that evening absolutely magical! It has left a lasting impression on me all these years. Whenever I think of it or bring it up in discussion I can"t help but smile. Kennys passing has saddened me and has once again reminded me how father time keeps moving forward. I myself am no longer that 22 year old kid sitting at that Central Park concert, although I still feel the same joy thinking about it now. Thanks Kenny, thanks foe everything.
