I am so sorry to hear that Kenny Rankin has passed away. I came to this site to check out concert dates for me and my husband and was shocked to hear the news. In the late 70's and early 80's I saw Kenny Rankin several times a year. I was the young black women that always requested that he sing "Through the eye of the eagle." Although he usually never did - I still came back to hear that unique voice. I am not such a young women anymore, but never stopped being a fan. My heart goes out to his family. What a shame that such a unique talent has been silenced. I am happy his music will live on.
