To Kenny's family, my sincere condolences. Your Dad made our world more beautiful. I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting your Dad when he played in San Antonio two years ago. My husband and I had had tickets for his Austin show for months, and I sent an email to his agent asking if it would be possible him to come to San Antonio while he was in Texas. We emailed a couple of times, I connected him to an event person I know here, and the show was on! It was a special opportunity for us to get to see your Dad two nights in a row -- he spoke so proudly of you during both shows. He came to an after party and visited with everybody and was so warm and easygoing. He told me he was glad he came, and he was just a neat guy -- like he'd known all of us forever. I'll always remember that about him, along with his phenomenal talent and gift of expression through his music. I hope your many happy memories are a comfort, as well as all of our remembrances here on this forum.
