I met Kenny many years ago in a club in Piermont, NY where he was performing. During a break I told him I'd love to sing with him and he graciously offered to let me sit in. I never got up the guts to actually do it, but I certainly appreciated his offer. I have been a huge fan of Kenny's work for many many years and I love to sing his songs to my wife. He had an instrument for a voice and it was so pure and elegant. He had such a distinct way of delivering other artists songs. He will be missed greatly.
