I was very sad to hear last night of Kenny's passing. I am the house sound engineer at West Hampton Beach Performing Art Center on Long Island. We had been talking about old shows and artists we wanted to have back again when I had found out. He had done shows there a few times and was always put on a great show. I remember him hanging out with me and John,the technical director of the theatre, for a few hours after the show just talking and telling stories of him and Carlin. We laughed our asses off......
I still remmeber how good his guitar sounded. It naturally sounded great without having to EQ anything. He also told jokes and stories of you guys between songs.
I have a very crude recording of that show - I think we gave Kenny a copy that night - but if you want I can send it to you as well.
I am so sorry for your loss.
