Like a lot of people on this board I have been a fan of Kenny's since the early Seventies and have had the privilege of seeing him many times in concert. My favorite memory from those concerts is hearing Kenny wrap his vocal cords around Randy Newman's "Marie", a beautiful song made even more beautiful with Kenny's interpretation.
I'm grateful that "Silver Morning" was finally released on cd so that I'll have that song forever;and deeply saddened that I'll never have the opportunity to hear it again live.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Kenny's friends and family.
