My Ol' Pal Kenny,
It's Little Ronnie from Steve Paul's The Scene (Ronnie Fontaine) been around 44yrs.
I made a few notes so I could cover the general bases without bein' too lenghty.
Glad yer alive an' well, I'm in great shape from bein' a workin' man. OK Kenny, here goes!
I'm acid trippin' w/ Steve Paul an' I black out an' went on a rampage an' the cops hadda get me outta there. I woke up in Bellview Hospital tied down t' the bed an' was ok but pretty slammed up from self inflicked wounds. Went t' my moms in New Hope, PA where she ran an art gallery & occult bookstore an' continued my guitar playin' an' writin'. Got real good w/ Travis style finger pickin' & ok on slide too.
Got a gilfriend pregnant an' we moved inta the woods in Sutton, VT on a 32 acre trout pond w/ no electricity but we split up when on a trip t' NYC w/ demo tapes I hooked up w/ Barbara Billington an' she ended up in the VT cabin after we got married in PA. an' got a boy & a girl. My son is famouse in Green Bay, WI w/ his music. Formed band in VT after divorce an' I ended it an' split VT after 22yrs. an' I been in Nashville, TN 17yrs. an' love it.
Still in touch w/ Judy Summers, Pat Gober & Sid Bernstein from NYC. an' tryin' t' get in touch w/ Steve Paul.
I'm a giant fan of yer stuff Kenny, so much in fact I can do yer pickin' style! Keep it up man!
