I, too, thought of you (Kenny) when I heard about George Carlin. I remember a Circle Star engagement in the Bay area in the late 70s. I think one of you was sick, probaby you Kenny, and so we got a double dose of the other person.

I love the shot of your grandaughter on your website. I showed it to the wife, and she gave a bit "Aaaw!"

I just saw on the concert schedule that you're going back to Festival Place in Edmonton. We were able to make the 5 hour drive last time, but, alas, we're away in Australia for a year. I wish you'd make it down under sometime. I have no idea how many Aussie fans you have, at the last couple of concerts (Boulder Casino and Festival Place) I talked to folks who have been listening since the 70s, and who have been to several shows. It's amazing how many fans you have scattered around the world. Kind of a mini Grateful Dead following!

The wife and I have a question though. Why haven't you become a household name like James Taylor? Was it a deliberate strategy on your part to lead a normal life? It seems to us there are few singers with as much talent but they have become remarkably famous and rich (so much so they can't go anywhere without bodyguards and such. So I'm not sure it's actually something that a person would want!)

Anyway, thanks for the years of pleasure, starting with Silver Morning and all the later albums. I've also been lucky enough to hear you perform probably a dozen times, starting with the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach. How about another Brazilian album? Silver Morning and Here in My Heart are my favorites.
