The tape for Silver Morning was not kept in the proper storage, and it had some flaws.
It went to DAT from the tape, and was re-mastered from the DAT. Vinyl was not part of
the process. That may be the reason it was never put in the CD format, back in the day.
I love this recording, and when I took control of the masters, this was the best they could
do. The Japanese CDs that you spoke about, are all from the same masters as the ones
that I re-released, in the last two years.
