Today was a hectic day at work and one that brought bad news of a friend's serious health discovery. I decided to center myself by listening to a song or two. I hadn't thought of Pussywillows Cattails for eons. In fact, I hadn't listened to any of your songs, Kenny, for a long, long time. But that song popped in my head. I searched it on Youtube and was delighted to find it. It was exactly what I needed...a beautiful song, beautiful voice, beautiful images conjured up. I remembered how many, many happy hours I've passed listening to Kenny's music. I watched the link to the Java Jazz 2007 concert and was so amazed at how incredible your musical gift still is. And I was so jealous of the people that got to hear it! Kansas is a long way from anywhere you will perform and how I would love to get to see and hear you live. I have listened to the several records and CD's I have of yours this evening. What a happy listening experience. Thank you, thank you for all of the years of enjoyable time spent with your music.
