I meant to include this; at times I've been audacious to suggest songs to Mr. R ........always based on the premise that he can sing anything, as he has covered so many genres so well, but occasionally I hear a song and it beckons for his interpretation; most often it's a song sung by a woman, and I hear it, as well, lyrically, from a man's perspective.....in this case, the recording of the song was done by a woman, but the lyrics are written as if a man were singing (altho a female/female relationship would apply as well) to a woman he loved, and lost........
When She Loved Me, done very well by Sara McLachlan, written by Randy Newman.
written for Toy Story, tho I might be mistaken, the song speaks to a robust love, a lost love.
