Spice
You were apparently the 'original' Spice Girls......I didn't get to d/l your music, but in your bio on IMDB, it chronicles an auspicious career in film, stunt work to acting.....and I didn't see mention of the music.....
and may I say, tongue in cheek, that it's a shame that you have left yourself go :)...............i.e. there are some pics on the website that demonstrate why you have been able to sustain such a physical career.
It was at the time that Kenny released Family that I heard, Im pretty sure it was, Dear Prudence, and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was......and this was on a station that was just beginning its FM years, so it had no DJ, hence, they didn't announce who you were listening to..................so I went on a crusade to find out who this was, and oh, would that I had the internet to track it down then....but ultimately the bastion of rock music, and folk, in NYC, WNEW, got back to me and located this guy named Rankin, and my collection is complete, LP (hoping we get cd) on a couple, and cd's on the balance.
His 'sound' is extrordinary, and we are lucky people to look at our music treasuries, and if we have 5 people in them who have 'that special sound' like Kenny, to turn to, we are luckier still.......it gives us each that 'pantheon' of artist who moves our lives.
One would hope that when Kenny puts his head to pillow, from time to time, he thinks about the gifts he has given 1000 sets of ears, a million sets of ears, ten million, and how wonderful a life that is to know you hold a special place in the heart of a Spice, or a BSN, and so on......I'm sure Kenny appreciates that.
