I have been on a mission over the past 35 years to see you perform live. My first obstacle during my youth was poverty. After over coming that one, it was bad luck. I was in Washington over a year ago to see you a the live 12PM performance on satellite radio but the show canceled. I was for the first time able to see you in Las Vegas at Palace Station a few weeks ago. You performance made the wait worth while.
I cannot believe my luck in the fact that you will be performing at Fairfield OH this Friday. I live just 70 miles away. After 35 years of waiting, I get the chance to see you perform twice in three months.
I have two things I would like to ask, a question and a request.
The question is in reference to Teddy Randazzo. I have read and you said at the Vegas show that you started as a backup singer for him. By the way, I just read that he will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. I have read that Teddy Randazzo Jr has a strong career as a singer guitar player. Do you have contact with him?
In addition, if I could make a request for the Fairfield performance, I always loved your presentation of “People Get Ready” with just acoustic guitar.
