Hello Kenny...
After losing track of you for almost 3 decades, your name came up in a conversation I recently had with my girlfriend. I am ashamed to say that the old adage "out of sight - out of mind" was true in this case.
But then I recalled the first time I had ever become aware of you, when you sang Silver Morning on the Johnny Carson show. Do you know the feeling of bliss and awe you sometimes get when you experience a performer's creative genius? I was literally frozen in place by one of the most beautiful songs I had ever heard.
30 years and thousands of songs later, I still feel the same way.
I believe you to be one of the great vocal talents of the last 50 years, and Silver Morning is one of the most beautiful songs ever written -- and absolutely no one could have performed it better.
If there is a God and He could sing, I believe He would sound like you.
