Yes, it is the same song by Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66. That was my first introduction to that song with Lani Hall singing the lead and I loved it then. Over the years "Like a Lover" has been recorded by many Jazz and Pop artists. Most of them have recorded it in a slower ballad tempo which I have grown to be fond. Aside from the music, the romantic lyrics were written by Alan & Marilyn Bergman who also wrote "Where Do You Start" which Kenny recorded. I just think that Kenny's voice & style is the perfect match for that song. :>))
