Greetings one and all..........
I have read the posts asking about the CD.
Let me first say that, I'm not a record company, and as such, don't have the resources that a company would have. I did the best I could.
The tape was in storage for about 35 years, and not in great shape. I couldn't bring it to Sony, Columbia, or Universal Music studios to be remastered, as it was very expensive. So I gave it to some folks that were reccomended. Then it was then given to the disc maker. I was able to press up a limited edition of the recording.
It sound good to me, but what do I know. I'm just a guitar player.
I appreciate the audiofiles who have really looked at it under a microscope, and I applaud them for their dilligence and concern. But there is nothing else I can say except, if anyone is dissatified with the CD, just give your address, and your money will be cheerfully refunded.
I am grateful for all the comments that are positive, and I am very happy say that I am about to re-release the Kenny Rankin Album, which is a live in studio recording. It was recorded with a 60 piece string orchestra, and conducted by the late Don Costa.
This is the one I always wanted to make, and we did!
The re-mastering of this one went beautifully, considering I don't have, the high tech stuff that has been mentioned.
And............if you don't like the way it sounds, you should ask for your money back.
No problem!
I hope this puts it to rest.
Next stop New York then it's on to Tokyo.
Be safe and well,
Kenny
