I come down in between here, and I think that is where most folks would, and I think the original intent of the first post might have been other than what has blown up.

The question isn't whether Kenny would purposely release an inferior product; what artist of stature would ever do that, other than one hit wonders who are looking for the buck.......to discuss this aspect any further is silly.

However, we do expect high quality on cd's.......I have a record collection of 2000, or had, but it's dwindled by some 500 as I've replaced them with cd versions over the years. And if the price of the cd is high, it makes a disappointment more of an irritant. I haven't purchased the cd yet as I did hear it played at a close friend's and we noticed the quality in selected areas. I figured I'd wait as sometimes something is released in its first go round, and a second batch, to use a lay term, improves........

I've seen Kenny answered the most difficult of questions, some of them impolitely put, others spotlighting difficult nights in his life, and he has always been up front, thick skinned guy. I'm patient to await his perspective on this.......he certainly has a better ear than I do.
