The Marshalls CD is called "Home for the Holidays" and came out in 1997. The annotation on your version of "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town", as well as Stephen Bishop's version of "Let It Snow", says "Courtesy of "Stars Come Out For Children" proceeds from which benefit charities serving children".
The other artists on the CD are Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Jars of Clay, NRBQ, Johnny Winter, Billie Holliday, and Mel Torme. The selections that these artists perform do not have the same annotation, just a courtesy to the issuing label.
I think I purchased the CD at Marshalls not in 1997 but later perhaps as late as 2000.
The CD has the following copyright information:
Copyright 1997 Marshalls, 5-97029-2 Copyright 1997 Tempo, Inc. Atlanta, GA. All Rights Reserved.
UPC code is 12202230223200001
I hope I didn't stir up a hornet's nest!
