I would imagine it's fair to say I've had the pleasure of following your career rather closely since I have every recording you've made, either on vinyl, cd, or both (oh yes, a couple of cassettes too . Your live performances have always been special.

Clearly your fans know how unique you are in doing covers of some of our most favorite songs, Beatles to Randy Newman, Marvin Gaye to Laura Nyro.

In interviews I've learned you had a close relationship with Laura and your duet with her is a marvelous part of my music treasure chest.
She hit us baby boomers with her 2nd album, Eli and the 13th Confession, but the album that preceded it, her debut, was virtually a greatest hits album; She's a Runner, And When I Die, Stoney End, Wedding Bell Blues and more. One song tho was in the shadows a bit, and it's one of my favorite songs, I Never Meant to Hurt You, and I have a request.
The last few years you have spent much of your time on standards and a more jazzy repetoire, no complaint from me, surely.....but I was hoping you'd consider adding I Never Meant to Hurt You to your recordings. Her lyric is equally accessible to a man as it is for a woman, and your rendition would be a wonderful homage to her brilliance.

Failing that, I wish you the best in health........
