Last Thursday I attended Kennys perfomace @ Scullers in the Boston area. I had not seen Kenny perform in this type of venue and had not sen him in over 40 years. I was pleased to see that Kenny has a great stage presence and has the uncanny ability to draw his audience into his music. This was a sold out performance yet Kenny took the the to spend a few moments with me catching up. He was kind enough to present me with a newly released CD of his selections from 1976.
The line to purchase this CD by his fans was so long that I think he may have been late to begin his next performance. The people around my table have been fans since the early 70's and a few of them follow some of his performances around the East coast. Kenny was to say the least great! his voice is truly an instrument and his range three octives. I was going to try to ontain tickest to his Pierpoint N.Y. performance so I could secure his autograph on my CD, but alas, but good for Kenny, it was sold out. Keep on doing your thig buddy!
